The All-Russian Conference on Information Technologies in Medicine (ITM), a major event in the healthcare sector, was held in St. Petersburg from 19 to 21 June.
The conference addressed crucial issues, such as the use of digital solutions to improve the quality of medical services at various stages. It also included topics such as hospital information systems, automation of rehabilitation processes, etc. Participants actively shared their expertise and insights on how digital innovations can improve the effectiveness of medical treatment.
Among the attendees were representatives of “MEDCOMPASS”, including Elena Sergeevna, our General Director, and Emilia Andreevna, medical consultant and radiologist.
On June 19th, Olga Rashitovna Artemova, Deputy Director of the Digital Development and Information Technology Department at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, spoke about the future of personal medical assistants (PMAs), artificial intelligence (AI) and decision support systems (DSS). She discussed their development, implementation and regulation.
“The project of a personal medical assistant platform will definitely be included in the national project that is currently under consideration. It is also expected that the PMA platform will be granted National Information System (NIS) status.”
