The Oncology Radiation Therapy Center “OncoStop,” situated within the National Medical Research Center for Oncology named after N.N. Blokhin, was established in 2011. Since its inception, our team of specialists has provided assistance to over 5,000 patients.
Our center specializes in external beam radiation therapy, stereotactic therapy, and radiosurgery. We employ cutting-edge technologies in radiation therapy, enabling us to implement a comprehensive range of contemporary methods for the treatment of oncological diseases. “OncoStop” offers radiation treatment services utilizing advanced equipment, including the “CyberKnife” (Accuray CyberKnife). This robotic system allows for the precise delivery of ionizing radiation to malignant cells with an accuracy of up to 0.5 mm, thereby minimizing collateral damage to healthy tissues.
All treatments adhere to the standards set forth by the NCCN (National Comprehensive Cancer Network), ASTRO (American Society for Radiation Oncology), and ESTRO (European Society for Radiation Oncology).
The treatment approach for each patient is determined by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including oncologists, radiation therapists, medical oncologists, and surgical oncologists. This collaborative strategy facilitates the development of individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific characteristics of the tumor, including its type, size, and location, as well as any comorbid conditions and the overall health status of the patient.
Our center also accommodates international patients, with all specialists at “OncoStop” proficient in English.
